For us, “Spirit” describes the living element that remains from History, from Cultural Impact, and from Human interaction with a place or thing. The “Circle” is the diverse and vibrant area surrounding, and including, the Great Lakes of North America. First Nations, Exploration, Conquest, Women’s Rights, the Underground Railroad, Industry, Economic and Environmental Impact…these are just a few of elements that form the “Circle” we explore and experience.
